Coriolus versicolor, also known as turkey tail mushroom, has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for years, primarily to enhance immune function and energy. Pure Encapsulations’ coriolus extract is wild-crafted and organic. Its bioactive compounds support immune cell function, white blood cell number and function, antibody production, healthy cell signaling and a healthy microflora balance.^‡

The main bioactive compounds in this mushroom are polysaccharides, namely beta-glucan. Coriolus versicolor is produced using only carefully controlled hot water to break apart the cell walls for their concentration of the valuable beta-glucans.^‡
