I’ve been taking lithium orotate

"I’ve been taking lithium orotate for many years. It was prescribed by my psychiatrist when o first started seeing her. I take it once daily. Honestly, I’m not sure what it does for me specifically, as it was prescribed with ashwagandha, vitamin D3, and magnesium. I soon after started feeling more calm and my whole system felt like it was “running” better and I felt more stable, centered, in my efforts to deal with depression and anxiety."

Lithium Orotate

"I am self medicating due to the Harvard study showing that lithium orotate can help with cognitive decline. I started with 1 mg and worked up to 5 mg over the course of a month. I’ve noticed that I am less anxious. However, I had my primary care physician check my lithium levels and they remain low at this time. I’m uncertain of how much more lithium to take since my PCP says she doesn’t prescribe it, even though my level is low. Would recommend."
