The Th2 helper cells are a specialized population of immune T cells. They support healthy immune balance and response at the cellular level and offer important support for healthy sinus, respiratory and G.I. functions. This Th2 Modulator supplement also helps maintain healthy mucosal immune responses to environmental factors. It may be used when addressing immune balance in the sinus, respiratory, urinary and intestinal tracts.‡
In this formula, Perilla seed was added to help modulate the Th2 immune response and supports G.I. mucosal tissue. NAC was added for its mucolytic properties and to promote tissue levels of the antioxidant glutathione, to support the body’s natural defense system. It is believed to be through this antioxidant mechanism that NAC supports healthy Th1/Th2 balance and cytokine production for tissue health.‡
How To Use
2 capsules, 1-2 times daily, between meals, or as directed by a health professional.
Science & Research
In a randomized, controlled trial involving 50 individuals, 150 mg of Perilla seed extract, twice daily, offered statistically significant support for G.I. comfort. A multicenter, randomized, double-blind trial with 262 participants indicated that NAC supplementation for six months supported upper respiratory tract and immune system health.‡
